I've been riding motorbikes since the early '90s and started practising yoga a few years later. Like many students this was initially motivated by wanting to heal a 'bad back', plus some curiosity. I loved it! Being two of my biggest passions, combining the two seemed a natural progression. Being a rider myself, I understand some of the aches and strains and general demands that riding, particularly for long periods, can place on you. Having practised yoga for many years, I also understand the benefits that it can bring, which of the practices are most beneficial (and which are often most challenging!)
I am qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga, 500+ hrs (click here for more information) which is the main governing body in the UK, with further training in Therapeutic Application of Yoga and have been teaching classes regularly since around 2006.
My teachers have included:
I have also trained in a specific programme for Yoga for healthy lower backs.
